Tommy Gene Hargis, Sr., 70, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

A former employee of Mohawk and Beaulieu textile mills, he was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas "Tom" & Mary Jo Smallwood Hargis and infant brothers, Donnie Ray and Kevin Labron.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Hargis (Eugene) Guess and T.J. (Jereann) Hargis; grandchildren, Roy Eugene Guess, and Kevin Labron Guess; uncle, Gerald Smallwood; nephews, Chad (Janet) Smallwood, Shawn (Becky) Smallwood; and cousin, Jim Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday, August 17, 2019 with Rev. Steve Patterson, officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday.
