Ms. Tonya Lynn Blansett Green, 41, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA died at her home on Thursday, February 23, 2012. A lifelong resident of Orme, TN and graduate of South Pittsburg High School, Ms. Green had worked as a nurse. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wayne Blansett; grandparents, Scott & Jennie Ruth Blansett and Clyde & Carrie Blevins and J.W. Jackson and uncle, William Blansett.She is survived by her son, Zachary Green of Rossville, GA; daughter, Lori Green of Ft. Oglethorpe; mother and step-father, Linda and Tommy Rodgers of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Scotty Blansett of Seattle, WA; sister, Tammy Stainton of Chatsworth, GA; uncles, Donald Blansett of South Pittsburg, TN, Jim Jackson of Harrison, TN; and aunt, Renee Allen of Dayton, TN. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00PM Central Time with Calvin Nunley officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 5PM - 7PM.
