Valeta Ann Choate, 84, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Grandview Medical Center. A longtime employee of Anderson Drug Store and the Sequatchie Valley Electric Cooperative, she was a member of South Pittsburg First Baptist Church and a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves.
The daughter of the late Lee F. and Irene Pasdach Choate, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and W. D. "Bud" Choate.

Surviving are her sister, Shirley (Ken) Wynne, of Kimball; and several nieces and nephews including Karen Wynne, Steve Wynne, Myra Choate and Tom Choate.
Visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Friday, August 10th from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM CST.

Graveside services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM CST in Cumberland View Cemetery with Rev. Brad Bridgman officiating.
