Velma Clay
Mrs. Velma Holtcamp Clay, 80, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Creston Clay, her parents, William Fred and Laura Bell Boyd Holtcamp, brothers, Ray, Bill, and Jim Holtcamp, and a sister, Nina H. Dent. She was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Lori and Brian Hawkins of South Pittsburg; Lance and Mary Lou Clay of Murfreesboro, TN; Jeffrey Boyd Clay of South Pittsburg; her grandchildren, David, Lindsey, Scott, Cody, and Travis; 7 great-grandchildren, her brother, Jack Holtcamp; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Melba Huffines.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, with Ron Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
