Obituary

Velma Frame Turner, 86, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, June 20, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital.

The daughter of the late Roy and Ola Bass Frame, she was a longtime member of Richard City First Baptist Church and loved sewing and reading in her spare time. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Turner and two brothers, John and Roy Gerald Frame.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Powers and husband Wayne, of Stevenson, AL; grandchildren, Kathy (Ryan) Bifulco of Atlanta, GA, Ken (Bonnie) Powers of Birmingham, AL and Leigh Powers of Boston, MA; three great-grandchildren, Piper Grace Powers, Ethan Bifulco and Stella Grace Bifulco; brother, Howard (Treva) Frame of Florida; sister-in-law, Ruby Frame of Virginia; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Monday, June 24, 2013 with Rev. Johnny Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, June 23rd from 6-9 pm and Monday, June 24th from 9am until service time.
