Virginia Webb Haynes, 88 of Jasper, TN died Sunday, June 24, 2012 in a local nursing home.

The daughter of the late Hubert and Martha Crowe Webb, she was of the Baptist faith and worked for 27 years as a secretary at Lodge Manufacturing. She was also a devoted homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Wayne Haynes and two sisters, Gertie Mae Webb and Dorothy Newcom.

She is survived by her children, Warren "Snuffy" Haynes, Jr. of Jasper, Charles and Phoebe Haynes of South Pittsburg, Clay and Susan Haynes and William and Donna Haynes all of Jasper; five grandchildren; sisters, Bertie Harvey of Alabama and Patsy Crowe of Jasper.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 12 noon Central time on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 6-9pm Central time and on Tuesday from 10am until service time at the funeral home.
