Wanda Stewart Elliott, 61, of South Pittsburg, TN died peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 11, 2016.

Wanda worked for HD Lee Company in Stevenson, Alabama until their facility closed and then went to work for Walmart in Kimball, TN where she worked in the invoicing office for over 20 years. She often helped her husband in his work with the Lions Club. She loved her family and all animals. She is remembered as a likeable, kind-hearted person who would give you the shirt off her back.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee & Evelyn Charlsie Johnson Stewart, father-in-law, Charles Elliott, and her beloved dog, Casper.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Edward Elliott of South Pittsburg, TN; son, Brandon (Stephanie) Elliott of New Market, Alabama; daughter, Kelly (Bryan) Gilley of Portland, TN; sisters, Helen (James) Collins and Marsha (Harold) Dawson both of Bridgeport, AL; brothers, Jerry (Shirley) Stewart of Stevenson, AL and David (Jan) Stewart of Pisgah, AL; mother-in-law, Julia Elliott of South Pittsburg; brother-in-law, Richard (Christie) Elliott of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm Central time. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 13th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm Central time at the funeral home.

The family asks that those wishing to give a gift in Wanda's memory do so by donating a book to the South Pittsburg Elementary School library.
