Wanda June Hood Kilgore, 76, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Wanda was a member of Coppinger Cove Baptist Church.

She loved road trips on the weekends and riding through the Smoky Mountains, but Wanda's favorite role was that of wife, mother, and grandmother.  She treasured her time with her family and loved being a Nana more than anything.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bartley and Lucille Hood; husband, Robert C. (Bob) Kilgore; daughter, Jamie Smith; brothers, Robert L. Hood, Lloyd Hood, Bartley Hood, Jr., Patrick Hood; sister, Iva Sue Hood.

Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Hamilton, Nicole (Hunter) Kilgore; son, Robert (Destiny) Kilgore; grandchildren, Torie Hamilton, Greyson Smith, Kaden Smith; chosen daughter, Brynna (Dennis) Hamilton; several sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at the Rogers Funeral Home Jasper Chapel, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, TN 37347 with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.

Wanda will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Kilgore at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.

The Pallbearers will be Hollis Roberson, Brandon Richardson, Jason Hood, Russ Hood, Wendall Roberson, and Billy Joe Roberson.
