Wayne Hall Privett, 75, of South Pittsburg, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 19, 2013.
Wayne was retired from Wagner Freight Lines and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter K. and Gussie Privett, a son, Wayne Hall Privett, Jr., and a brother Arnold V. Privett.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shetters Privett; daughter, Sharon Privett (Nathan) Billingsley of Kimball; grandchildren, Holden Wayne and Ellen Layne Billingsley; sisters, Mary June Privett Bowlin of Sequatchie, TN and Virginia Jo Privett (Robert) Payne of Madison, AL; brother, Norrell (Linda) Privett of Whitwell, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Thursday, August 22, 2013 with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, August 21 from 4-8 pm Central time at the funeral home.
