Wendy Walker, 47, of South Pittsburg, TN died at her home on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The daughter of the late Holman Jerry and Betty Webb Walker, Jr., she graduated from South Pittsburg High School in 1982 where she was a majorette. She graduated from Rhodes College in 1986 and went on to work in the Marion County School System for several years. She loved reading, learning, painting, playing piano and animals of all kinds. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Holman J. "Trey" Walker, III and her grandparents, Hazel & Daniel Webb and Holman & Etta Walker. Wendy is survived by her special friend, Randy Cole of Stevenson; sister, Kim Walker (Benny) Lappin of South Pittsburg; aunt, Doris Knapper of Winchester, TN; uncle, Bob (Beverly) Webb of Florida; nephew, Trey Cook of South Pittsburg; nieces, Danielle Walker of South Pittsburg and Michelle Walker of Chattanooga, TN; brother-in-law, Frank Cook of Bridgeport, AL and special cousins, Donald and Donna Blansett of South Pittsburg. Funeral Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel in South Pittsburg on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2PM Central Time. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
