William " Bill" Hulvey, 85, of South Pittsburg, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was retired from U.S. Pipe and then enjoyed working on his farm in New Hope for many years.

He was avid fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball.

He was also of the Baptist faith.

William is survived by his wife of 61 years, Clara Reeves Hulvey,   two sons; Tracy (LeLe) Hulvey, Mark (April) Hulvey, two sisters; Ann Youngtrom and Betty Hudgens;Three granddaughters, Paige (Dylan) Scott, Caitlin (Josh) Grider, Hannah Hulvey (Kyle Cunningham); three grandsons, William Blevins, Wyatt Hulvey, and Dillon Hulvey.

He is preceded in death by his parents,  Garl Hulvey and Ella O'Neil Hulvey; brothers, Dexter Hulvey, James Hulvey, Shurell Hulvey, Almon Hulvey, sister Grace Whited.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) in the funeral home chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Minister Lamar Hulvey, James Housley and Bro. Ronnie Case officiating.

Bill will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. (CST) at the funeral home prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be David Youngtrom, Chris Hollingworth, Kyle Cunningham, Josh Grider, William Blevins, Scott Whited.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Vandergriff, Robert Bynum, Terry Durham, Robert Allison, George Blevins, Will Blevins, Michael Whited, Fred Johnson, and Mike Hollingsworth.
