William Addison Tuders, 93, of Crossville, Tennessee died Saturday, January 17, 2015.

The son of William A. and Mae Morrison Tuders, he was a 30 year Navy veteran of World War II. He served on the USS Lexington at the time it was sunk by the Japanese and spent several days in the water before being rescued by the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and his wife, Katherine Forrester Tuders.

He is survived by his niece, Mary Nell "Tootie" Grimes and nephew, Johnny (June) Grimes all of Jasper, TN and several other nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or services for Mr. Tuders.
