Willie Kay Quarles “Pop”

June 6, 1945 – April 29, 2026

Jasper, Tennessee

Willie Kay Quarles, lovingly known as “Pop,” of Jasper, Tennessee, was born on June 30, 1945, and passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, surrounded by the legacy of a life well lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gertrude Quarles; his son, Sue Quarles; and his granddaughter, Cassie Quarles.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Patricia Hasting Quarles. He is also survived by his children: Willie (Maria) Quarles, Tammie Quarles, and Rebecca (Sam) Geer. He leaves a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on his memory and the lessons he passed down.

Pop was known for his hardworking spirit and the life he built with his own hands. He spent his years building houses, making trades, and “keeping the roads hot,” always on the move and always taking care of business. He will be remembered for his strength, independence, and the way he provided for and loved his family.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 21 East Fifth St, Jasper, TN 37347 with Billy Hasting officiating.

Mr. Quarles will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee following the funeral service.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CDT) at Rogers Funeral Home, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, Tennessee prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pop’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Billy Geer, Addison Davis, Doug Hasting, Brian Kaysen, Bradley Morgan, Matthew Wallace and Brandon Quarles.
