Mr. Wilroy Moss Anderson, 86, of Jasper, TN died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his home following a brief illness.
The son of the late Willard Roy and Mary Louise Moss Anderson, he was a lifelong farmer and a faithful member of Havron's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Riley Anderson and one brother, Clifford Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Veronica) Anderson of Houston, TX, Jennifer (Ray) Durham of Jasper, W. Scott Anderson of North Chattanooga, TN and Jonathan Anderson of Jasper; sister, Virginia Kirchhoff of Jefferson City, MO; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Anderson of Houston, TX and Annabelle Anderson of Seattle, WA.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mr. Anderson's caregivers, Kim Sloan and Helen Durham.
Memorial services will be held at 3 pm Central time on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Havron's Chapel United Methodist Church, 3267 Shellmound Road, Jasper, TN with Rev. Jim Diehl officiating. Interment will follow at Havron's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home - Jasper Chapel, 21 East 5th Street, Jasper, TN on Saturday evening from 5-8 Central time and on Sunday from 1-3 pm Central time at the church.
