Mrs. Betty June Richardson Layne, 89, of Jasper, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Betty was born on February 13, 1934, to the late Jim and Josey Richardson of Victoria, Tennessee.

Betty was part of the 1953 Graduating Class of Whitwell.  Betty was a dental assistant for 27 years for Dr. Spargo and worked as a secretary for Layne's Body Shop.

Betty is married to Clifford Layne of Jasper, TN.  and has been married for 72 years.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford Layne of Jasper, TN and their unofficial adopted daughter, Lonna Henderson.

Visitation will be held at the Rogers's Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11:30 a.m.  to 1:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the chapel service at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Betty will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery.
