Joy Phillips Bolton

Joy Phillips Bolton, 57 of South Pittsburg, TN went to be with our Lord on November 17, 2021. She was the beloved daughter of Otis Phillips and the late Lillie Collins.

Joy was born in South Pittsburg, TN and lived the rest of her life in Marion County, TN. She was a proud and devout Christian. She was married to Troy Bolton. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage and devotion to one another. She was dedicated to her daughters, Kristin (Scott) Towers and Tiffany Bolton. Joy was so very proud of her family. Spending time with her grandsons Dayne Grider, Ethan Grider, and Gunner Towers was truly her passion.

In addition to her mother, Joy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothea Dupree Matlack, her step grandfather, Walter Pete Matlack, and her brother Thad Arnold.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Troy Bolton; Daughters, Kristin (Scott) Towers and Tiffany Bolton. Her three grandsons; Dayne Grider, Ethan Grider, and Gunner Towers. Her three siblings; Vickie Jarrett, Dorothy Jarrett, and Nathan (Susie) Phillips. Her father; Otis (Judy) Phillips. Her remaining Aunts and Uncles; Helen (John) Jackson, June (Millard) Hill, Betty Sue Hayes, and James (Donna) Phillips. Her two sisters-n-law; Vanessa Bolton Sharp and Angie Bolton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. (CST), with Pastor Terry Bolton and Pastor Caleb Bolton officiating, in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg,

Interment will follow at Orme Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

The honor of being pallbearers is bestowed upon: Dayne Grider, Ethan Grider, John Jackson III, Wes Arnold, Ryan Phillips, and David Phillips.
