Linda Rose Rich Toney, 79, of Kimball, Tennessee entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, February 19, 2023.  What a reunion it must have been as she joined her family that had gone on before her!

Linda never met a stranger.  She loved our Lord, her family, friends, genealogy adventures, crocheting afghans, and watching the Vols and the Pirates play ball.  Her greatest joys in life were her son, Tommy and her grandson, Jacob.  In her final years her dog Yank was her constant companion.

Linda spent many happy years working at Tennessee-Alabama Restaurant where she made life-long friendships.  Her later years were spent as a caregiver for the elderly, and she delighted in the relationships she built with them and their families.  Linda was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, and she loved listening to gospel music.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Toney.  Going before her also were her parents, Nell and Woodrow Rich as well as her brother A.W."Tuttler" Nichols and her sisters; Joan Rich and Lytha Rich Toney.

Linda is survived by her grandchildren; Jacob Toney (Sandy), Brycen Guinn, and Paris Rivas, her sister Cheryl Webb as well as her bonus daughter, Earlene Toney, nieces and nephews; Craig Toney, Robin Steinback, Tracy Johnson, Tammie Byrd, Arianne Torgerson, Brandon Venson, Bryant Venson, Breanna Venson, Gabriella Torgerson, Jordan Jackson, and Rylee Venson., brother-in-law, Marion Toney, Special Cousin, Mary Jo Talley, Sister by Choice; Sallie Wayne and too many forever best friends to name.

She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN at 12:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, February 24, 2023 with Brother Darrell Nunley officiating.

Ms. Toney will be laid to rest at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
